Purpose of the Program:
The aim of the program; Able to carry out optician services in optical facilities, glass production factories and eye clinic hospitals; have knowledge about diseases, eye ailments, eye defects, glass; able to carry out all transactions to customers from the moment they enter the store to the delivery of the glasses; able to solve any problem with glasses; capable of performing operations such as glass cutting and repair; To train professional opticians who have knowledge about eye health techniques and can use them.
The Opticianry Program focuses on applications as well as theoretical knowledge. Appropriate courses are conducted with practice-based teaching and aim to develop the student's professional practice, examination and evaluation skills.
Training Process:
In order to successfully complete all the courses in the program (equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS), it is necessary to achieve a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and to successfully complete the compulsory summer internship covering 30 working days.
