Purpose of the Program:
The main purpose of the Child Protection and Care Services Program is to train caregivers who can serve for the protection and care of children in institutions such as children's sites and child support centers where children who are placed under the protection of the state for various reasons, and who can support them in educational, social and moral aspects.
Training Process:
In order to successfully complete all the courses in the program (equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS), it is necessary to achieve a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and to successfully complete the compulsory summer internship covering 30 working days.
Employment Opportunities:
Students who graduate from the Child Protection and Care Services Program; He can work in various public and private social service institutions, especially the Ministry of Family, Labor and Services, and health institutions and organizations. Apart from that, it can also be employed in non-governmental organizations. She can work as manager and care specialist in refugee centers where children are taken under state protection, in various projects requiring social work, in international organizations such as UNICEF and voluntary aid organizations.
