Purpose of the Program:

It is the training of electroneurophysiology technicians who are trained at the level of vocational schools who can work under the supervision of specialist physicians in the use of neurophysiological methods necessary for the analysis of cognitive and behavioral functions in the brain and the detection of diseases caused by the deterioration of these functions.

Electroneurophysiology is an important branch of neurology and physiology, and those who will choose this profession should have a very good professional performance and research desire. Brain diseases, together with cardiological diseases, constitute the most researched and exposed disease group in the world. For this reason, very high budget brain researches are carried out in the world. Technicians who will take part in these researches and who have received technician training in this field are required both in the European Union and national projects both in our country and abroad. Technician candidates who prefer to be a researcher have the opportunity to transfer vertically.

Training Process:

In order to successfully complete all the courses in the program (equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS), it is necessary to achieve a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 and to successfully complete the compulsory summer internship covering 30 working days.

Employment Opportunities:

Technicians perform electroneurography, electroencephalography, polysomnography and evoked potential examinations, develop examination protocols according to the data obtained and discuss the results with the physician. Electromyography supports the physician during intraoperative monitoring applications. Graduates can work as Electroneurophysiology Technicians in electroencephalography, arousal potentials and sleep units of official or private hospitals and polyclinics under the supervision and supervision of neurology, ENT, psychiatry, pediatrics, chest diseases and physiology specialists, as well as in scientific researches supported by universities in Turkey and abroad.
