High Academic Performance in the Mechanical Engineering Department

Faculty members in the Mechanical Engineering Department have distinguished themselves with their high participation and strong publication performance in the 2025 academic incentive application process. 15 out of 18 faculty members applied for academic incentives,

demonstrating a participation rate of 83.3% and indicating that academic productivity is widespread throughout the department.

During the relevant period, 47 scientific articles were published by faculty members; 44 of these publications were in international peer-reviewed journals, and 3 in national peer-reviewed journals. The fact that 93.6% of the publications are international highlights the high level of scientific visibility and impact of the department.

The average number of publications per faculty member was calculated as 3.13 for those who applied for incentives, and 2.61 for the department as a whole. These data quantitatively support the research-oriented and sustainable academic structure of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
