▪ In line with the strategic plan and objectives of the University, to prepare and evaluate the Doctoral Qualification exams of the students who are continuing their doctoral programmes and have successfully completed the course phase.
▪ To share the exam questions proposed by the commission for the PhD Qualifying exams with the Department lecturers and to get their opinions.
▪ To conduct the doctoral qualifying exams in accordance with the rules and principles determined by the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences.

▪ To introduce ERASMUS, Mevlana and Farabi exchange programmes to the students and lecturers of the department and to encourage students.

▪ To help the adaptation of students coming with exchange programmes and to solve their problems..

▪ Evaluation of the applications of students who transfer to the department in accordance with the AYBU Course Counting and Adjustment Procedures Application Principles, who are eligible to do double major / minor or who request course exemption.

▪ Carries out studies for MÜDEK Accreditation and organises MÜDEK Department visits.
