What is ACCREDITATION?
Accreditation: The certification and regular auditing by an independent and impartial organization that institutions operate according to technical criteria determined by a third party.
Educational Accreditation: A type of quality assurance process in which the services and operations of an educational institution or program are evaluated at appropriate intervals by an external evaluation agency to determine their compliance with applicable standards (criteria).
What is MÜDEK?
MÜDEK is the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Education Programs.
MÜDEK's primary objective is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of engineering education by conducting accreditation, evaluation, and informational activities for engineering education programs in various disciplines. Thus, the goal is to advance the welfare of society by producing better-educated and more qualified engineers who understand current and emerging technologies.
ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education): MÜDEK has been a member of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) since November 17, 2006.
EUR-ACE® Label: MÜDEK has been authorized by ENAEE to award the EUR-ACE® Label (Bachelor Level) to the engineering undergraduate programs it accredits since January 21, 2009.
IEA-WA (International Engineering Alliance - Washington Accord): MÜDEK has been a Signatory Member of the WA, an International Engineering Alliance (IEA) agreement, since June 15, 2011.

Provides the opportunity to graduate from an internationally recognized program
Enables documentation of graduation from a program that meets international engineering education standards during job applications.
Graduating from a program with the EUR-ACE® label provides the necessary educational conditions to receive FEANI’s EUR-Ing title.
Our department has started MÜDEK Accreditation studies as of the 2022-2023 Fall Semester.
