New Book Announcement

We are pleased to announce that the book titled "The Use of Brain Imaging Technologies in Social Sciences: A Handbook," to which one of our faculty members, Dr. Funda SALMAN, contributed as a chapter author, has been published by Nobel Publishing. This book includes step-by-step instructions for conducting experiments and provides practical information on the easy use of highly complex devices. Such practical tips for beginners are often not found in existing theoretical books, leaving researchers to learn through trial and error, which can be disadvantageous in terms of research duration and cost. Aimed at closing this gap, the book covers the use of four different devices (EEG, fMRI, fNIRS, Eye Tracking). Additionally, it addresses common problems, necessary precautions, points to consider for image quality, the history of these devices in our country, and the pioneers who introduced the technology to our nation. The book is recommended for beginners, thesis students, cognitive and brain researchers, and all other researchers.
