The Future Of Artificial Intelligence And Higher Education: Workshop On Redesigning Curricula Held

The workshop titled "The Future of Artificial Intelligence and Higher Education: Redesigning Curricula" was held on September 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. on the 9th floor of AYBU Etlik Milli İrade Campus.

The opening speech was delivered by the Faculty Dean, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Tutar. During the program, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kemal Özdemir gave a presentation on the integration of artificial intelligence into higher education and interdisciplinary curriculum design; Assist. Prof. Fatma Aladağ presented on "Digital History: Not Artificial Intelligence, but a Matter of Scale"; and Prof. Dr. Güven Delice gave a presentation on micro-credentials.

The second part of the program continued with a meeting of the Psychology Department Working Group. The group organized its recommendations under four main headings: micro-credentials and certification processes, the integration of artificial intelligence into curricula, the integration of artificial intelligence into research processes, and recommendations from external stakeholders.

The working group included internal stakeholders Prof. Dr. Hüdayar Cihan, Assist. Prof. Funda Salman, Assist. Prof. Elif Emir Öksüz, Research Assistant Özge Demirci, and Research Assistant Hasan Duymuş as rapporteur. Psk. Seda Zeynep Yılbant from Yetim Foundation participated as an external stakeholder.
