On 16th of June, all graduation thesis groups are going to present what they have done on their projects and presentation schedule would be declared on 9th of June. Each presentation should take 20 minutes including the questions from the judges and formal dress code is required. Presentation of each group should be send to Dr. Gerçek Budak thru email (gbudak@ybu.edu.tr) with the mail topic of “Graduate Thesis Final Report 2022” before 15th of June, 11.59pm.
15th of June, 11.59 pm is also the deadline for submitting the project reports to the university mail of their committee judges. The format of these reports should be appropriate with the format of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences’ master thesis format (https://aybu.edu.tr/fbe/tr/duyuru/9018/Tez-Yaz%C4%B1m-K%C4%B1lavuzu-G%C3%BCncellenmi%C5%9Ftir).
Evaluation Criteria of the report and presentations are listed as follows which is going to be the %50 of your grade: Report Evaluation (%20), Understanding of the subject matter (%15), Responses to Questions (%15), Evidence of effort and time involved (%10), Evidence of Critical Thinking on the Subject (%10), Clarity of Presentation and English (%10), Research Plan and Execution of the Project (%10), Formality and Professionalism (%10).
Other %50 of your grade would be examined from the short essay and the poster (48”-60”) that you are going to prepare. The short essay is the summary of your projects in 2 pages (10 punt, Times new roman, 1 line gap) which includes your problem definition, methodology, findings and conclusion. All short essays are going to be published in a booklet. Format of the short essay will be announced in future. Prepared poster should be prepared as a scientific poster and it will be graded according to the content and creativity.

1st of June: Deadline for Submission of Short Essay
9th of June: Declaration of the Presentation Schedule.
15th of June: Deadline for Submission of Final Report and Poster
16th of June: Presentations of the Thesis.
17th of June: Poster Presentations.
Best Presentations (1st, 2nd and 3rd) and Best Posters (1st, 2nd and 3rd) are going to be decided depending on the judges and they are going to be awarded with a certification.
