The main purpose of the internship is to provide undergraduate students of the Department of Industrial Engineering with industry experience in related sectors. In the internships, our students;
- To present the theory to practice,
- Develop their personal and professional skills,
- Observe the theoretical and practical knowledge harmony,
- Increase the probability of finding a job in the fields of interest,
- We aim to make them ready for business life when they graduate.
Internship, which is an important part of our program, prepares our students for working life before graduation. In addition, this process provides our students with an important experience on how to prepare a professional resume and what should be considered in job interviews. All Industrial Engineering students must complete a minimum of 40 working days of internship during the 4-year undergraduate period.
In accordance with the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law (No. 5510), the compensation of students participating in vocational education in enterprises is provided with occupational sickness and health insurance.
Students can do an internship at a company of their choice, provided that they receive the approval of the Industrial Engineering department internship commission. Detailed information for the internship is posted on the Industrial Engineering department website.
