AYBU Department of Sociology Ranked in the 801–1000 Band in the THE 2025 World Rankings and 12th Among Sociology Departments in Türkiye
The Department of Sociology at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University has secured its place in the 801–1000 band in the 2025 Sociology subject rankings announced by Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world’s leading higher education ranking organizations. The department has also been ranked 12th among Sociology departments in Türkiye.
This ranking is determined based on evaluations made under five key criteria: research quality, research environment, industry income, international outlook, and teaching. The achievement of our department can be regarded as a significant indicator of our qualified academic staff and high-quality education process, as well as national and international research activities, publications, and projects that enhance our global academic visibility.
