The “7th Sociology Days” event, jointly organized by the Department of Sociology and the Sociology Student Community at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU), was held at the Conference Hall of Block A on the Esenboğa Campus.
Following the opening remarks, the keynote session—moderated by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Orçan—featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Olgun Gündüz, Deputy Director General at the Ministry of Family and Social Services, who discussed “Social Bonds and the Family Institution in the Digital Age” from multiple perspectives.
After the keynote, the first and second sessions addressed several contemporary topics relevant to sociology, including social media use, social deviance and cyberbullying, urbanization, migration dynamics, and artificial intelligence.
