On Wednesday, March 25, 2025, as the AYBU Department of Sociology, we organized an iftar dinner at the staff dining hall on the Esenboğa Campus. Our graduates, students, and faculty members attended the event. Following the meal, our Department Chair Prof. Dr. Ramazan Yelken and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Orçan each delivered speeches addressed to the students. Expressing their pleasure in being together, our professors stated that they feel proud and happy when they hear about the achievements of our graduates, and wished similar success to our students who will be graduating in the near future.
Afterward, both our alumni and current students took the floor, expressing their happiness at coming together through the iftar gathering and their desire to see more events of this kind organized in the future.
We would like to thank all faculty members and students who joined us at our iftar dinner, which took place in a warm and sincere atmosphere, and who shared in our joy by attending.
