The project, which won first place in the 2025 TUSAŞ LIFT UP Industry-Oriented Undergraduate Graduation Projects Program, has been developed into a scientific article. Titled “Design and optimisation of SMA-activated landing gear door locking mechanism of an air vehicle” the study was submitted for evaluation to The Aeronautical Journal. The journal, which is indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), categorized as Q2, and published by Cambridge University, found the study suitable for publication and included it in its June 2026 issue.
