Prof. Dr. Mehmet Öz, a faculty member at Hacettepe University and President of the Turkish Hearths (Türk Ocakları), gave a conference in our department focusing on the changes and transformations in the classical Ottoman state system. He examined these developments through case studies and the institutions of the classical period.
