Materials Days '26 Begin

Organized by the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Materials Engineers Club (MATEC), the "Traditional 2nd Materials Days" brings defense industry and technology giants together with students.

The MATEC Club, operating within our Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, is hosting the second edition of its traditional Materials Days event. During this two-day event, top executives and expert engineers from Turkey's leading defense industry organizations and companies producing advanced material technologies will share their knowledge and experiences with our students.

Offering a great opportunity for students who are planning their careers and want to closely follow the most up-to-date technologies in the sector, the organization will feature giant institutions such as the Presidency of Defense Industries, TÜBİTAK SAGE, FNSS, Nurol Teknoloji, TUSAŞ (Turkish Aerospace Industries), METALWORM, Sağlam Metal, and ASELSAN.

Throughout the event, participants will have the chance to interact one-on-one with many important figures, from the President of the Defense Industry Academy Prof. Dr. Cenk AKTAŞ to National Combat Aircraft Chief Engineer Emre YABAN, Aselsan Academy Manager Dr. Ali Emre GÜLEÇ, and leaders in advanced materials, process development, and strategic sales.
