Our department students, organized by AYBU MATEC (Materials Engineers Club), carried out a technical visit to the Ceramics Center of Excellence of Nurol Technology, one of the leading establishments of our defense industry, in Gölbaşı.
During this visit, where we had the opportunity to examine the production processes on advanced technical ballistic ceramics and new generation armor systems on-site, our students obtained valuable information about the sector's leading applications from experts. Witnessing the industrial equivalent of theoretical knowledge provided significant contributions to our students' materials science vision.
