Our department organized a technical visit to TMC Powder Metal for our students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical applications as part of the 'MSE417 Powder Based Production Methods' course.

During the visit, our students had the opportunity to closely examine the production facilities of TMC Powder Metal, one of the leading companies in the powder metallurgy sector. Our students observed the industrial-scale applications of powder manufacturing, powder compaction, and sintering processes on-site.

As part of the visit, a detailed presentation was also given to the students by Prof. Dr. Mustafa BOZ. In this presentation, comprehensive information was shared about the theoretical background of the relevant processes, as well as the past, present, and future of the sector on a local and global scale.
