The award ceremony for the second term of the “Accessible and Connected Türkiye 2053 Interuniversity R&D Idea Competition,” organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, was held on April 15, 2025. Among five awarded projects from our university, our department’s students Nursena Keçiyokuşu, Sıla Sultan Demirci, and İsmet Berk Özdemir received the “Honorable Mention (Most Promising for Development)” award with their project ThermoWay.
Their environmentally friendly project offers a sustainable solution by storing solar energy thermally to prevent road icing during winter months.
