Within the scope of the project—of which the Turkish Public Employees Foundation (TÜRKAV), the Sinop Exchange and Balkan Peoples Culture Research and Solidarity Association, and the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University History Community are stakeholders—a conference titled “Current Issues of the Turkic World,” as well as workshops on “Common Cultural Elements” and “Introduction to Turkic World Countries,” were organized.
In the presentation delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuba Tombuloğlu, a faculty member at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, the current issues of the Turkic world, common cultural heritage, and alphabet unity were addressed comprehensively. AYBÜ History Community’s academic advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Doğan also attended the event. Throughout the two-day program, students gained significant academic insights and had the opportunity to closely explore Sinop’s historical and cultural richness.
Thanks were extended to the Sinop University Turkic World and History Student Club, the Turkish Public Employees Foundation (TÜRKAV) Sinop Branch, the Sinop Exchange and Balkan Peoples Culture Research and Solidarity Association, and all contributing academics for their efforts in bringing the program to fruition. The AYBÜ History Community stated that it will continue to contribute to similar academic and cultural activities in line with the awareness of shared history and culture.
