Autonomous Ships in the Law of the Sea Conference

We are pleased to invite you to our conference titled ‘Autonomous Ships in Maritime Law’ which will be held in cooperation with Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Ankara University National Research Centre for Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) and Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law, Swansea University. Within the scope of the conference, the legal dimension of autonomous ships will be assessed from an international perspective, as well as the outcomes of the TUBITAK project supported within the scope of the 1001 Programme No. 220K072, which was carried out within our faculty and successfully terminated, addressing the Legal Problems and Solutions to the Use of Autonomous Ships in the Turkish Maritime Sector will be presented to the participants. The conference will be held on 23 October 2024 at 13.30 at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Law, Conference Hall (A Block, 2nd floor) and is open to the participation of anyone interested in the subject.
