In the 211th Wednesday Seminar, Research Assistant Elif Kösesoy from AYBU Faculty of Law, General Public Law Department will make a presentation titled as ‘Child as a Subject of Rights: Children’s Rights from Past to Present’. In her presentation, firstly the concepts of child, childhood and children's rights will be defined. After explaining the basic methods concerning children's rights and the importance of children's rights in terms of human rights; national and international standards related to children's rights will be determined. Following the recent developments of children's rights in Turkey, some suggestions will be proposed in order to be able improve those rights.
