The "İlhan Tekeli Thesis Awards," organized by the İlhan Tekeli Urbanism Culture Foundation, were presented at a ceremony hosted by the Marmara Municipalities Union (MBB) on December 19, 2025.
Asst. Prof. Hami Doruk Köse, a faculty member of our department, was honored with the 2024 PhD Incentive Award for his doctoral thesis titled "Politico-Institutional Change and Urban Renewal in the Neoliberal Era: The Case of Ulus Square, Ankara," conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kemal Bayırbağ.
