As part of the “FPS Meetings” series, the event titled “What Comes After the Digital State? Artificial Intelligence, Algorithms, and the Future of Public Administration,” organized by our Department, was held at the Conference Hall on October 12, 2026.
The event featured Prof. Dr. Mete Yıldız, a faculty member at Hacettepe University, who discussed the historical development of e-government, the interaction between technology and public administration, and digital transformation processes. In his presentation, Prof. Dr. Yıldız addressed not only the advantages of artificial intelligence in public services but also potential risks, including algorithmic bias, the digital divide, the surveillance society, and data security.
The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which participants’ questions were addressed, followed by the presentation of a certificate of appreciation.
