The Department of Political Science and Public Administration (PSPA) at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University’s Faculty of Political Sciences trains students to become competent graduates who can analyze political and administrative processes from the local to the global with a scientific perspective, produce evidence-based policies, and work effectively in multilingual and multicultural environments.

Undergraduate Program (English)

The PSPA undergraduate program lasts four years (excluding the preparatory year) and the language of instruction is English. In the first two years, students build a strong foundation in political science, administrative sciences, research methods, law, economics, and sociology; in the upper years, they can deepen their studies with courses such as Turkish political life, comparative politics, administrative law, urban policies, local governments, and environmental politics.

In the third and fourth years, our elective courses focus on democracy and political theory, identity, gender, political behavior, migration, regional studies, environment and climate, the politics of technology, as well as public administration, public policy, and political economy.

Internationalization and Exchange

Through Erasmus+, our students can benefit from student exchange opportunities with some universities in Europe. Current agreements and application procedures are announced on the International Relations Office website.
