ENGR450 Occupational Training in Business

Offered within the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, the ENGR450 Occupational Training in Business course is a comprehensive program aimed at enabling students to gain experience by applying their engineering knowledge in real work environments. Unlike an internship or graduation project, this course requires the student to work actively in a company for at least one day (preferably two days) a week during an academic semester and fulfill specific academic obligations.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): Must be at least 2.75 on the application date.
  • Internship Status: Two mandatory summer internships must be completed.
  • Class Level: Only 4th-year students can apply.
  • Enterprise Suitability: There must be at least one engineer from the student's engineering branch in the host company.
Important Notices:

• If there is no protocol between the university and the company, an acceptance letter must be obtained from the company and submitted to the department head.
• Occupational training in the company and the university course schedules must not conflict. All responsibility regarding this matter belongs to the student.
