About
Economic & Financial Analysis Letters (EFL) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal of national and international scope, published under the auspices of the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. The journal aims to contribute to the academic community by publishing original theoretical and empirical research in economics, finance, public finance, and related disciplines.
The journal seeks to publish studies that address current debates in economics and finance on the basis of scientific method, analytical consistency, and methodological rigor. Priority is given to research that establishes a strong link between theoretical frameworks and empirical analysis, and that has the potential to serve as a reference for policymakers, academics, and researchers.
EFL accepts manuscripts only in English. Through this language policy, the journal aims not only to contribute to the national academic literature but also to enhance its visibility within international scholarly communication networks. This policy represents a strategic choice designed to broaden the journal’s scientific impact and to strengthen its engagement with diverse academic communities.

EEFL operates a double-blind peer review system. Each submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening and is subsequently evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. The final academic decision is made on the basis of editorial assessment and reviewer reports.
The journal is committed to national and international standards of academic publishing and adheres to established ethical principles. All submissions are subject to similarity checks, and the journal adopts a zero-tolerance policy toward violations of research and publication ethics. The academic and legal responsibility for published works rests with the authors.
The journal is published exclusively in digital format and releases at least two issues per year. Special issues may be published when deemed appropriate.
Institutional Structure and Academic Assurance
The academic and administrative processes of the journal are carried out by the Editor-in-Chief, the Editorial Board, the Advisory Board, and other relevant committees. Editorial appointments are based on specific academic qualification criteria, ensuring that the scientific quality of the journal is institutionally safeguarded.
EFL aims to be indexed in national and international academic databases, to increase its citation visibility, and to become, in the long term, a high-impact reference journal in its field.
