Faculty members presented papers at the 36th International Finance Symposium

At the 36th International Finance Symposium held in Antalya between 27-30 October 2022, a paper titled “Evaluation of the Taxation of Social Media Content Producers in terms of Turkish Tax System” prepared by Financial Law Department research assistants Dilara Karlı, Şeyma Sarıcalar and Yaren Yitkin, were presented. In the symposium, programmed within the framework of the main theme of Combating Inflation and Public Finance Tools, numerous papers were presented on digital economy and taxation, tax jurisdiction, tax crimes and misdemeanours, public expenditures, inflation, and tax literacy. In the symposium, our university’s Faculty of Political Sciences, and Department of Finance research assistants İmran Arıtı Erdem and Emine Kepez also made presentations, and the election of the scientific committee was held. In this context, Assoc. Dr Neslihan Karataş Durmuş was elected as an associate professor representative for the Science Board membership in the Finance Symposiums to be held between 2023-2026.
