AYBU 231st Wednesday Seminar was held on “Sea Problems in Eastern Mediterranean and Türkiye” by Research Assistant Ali Said Çimen from the Department of International Law.
Research Assistant Ali Said Çimen touched upon marine space of States in purpose of using seas and classified marine spaces and their status based on the authorities of States. The speaker, explaining the principles regarding the restrictions of marine space, evaluated the conflicts between Türkiye and the Greek Cypriot Administration of Southern Cyprus and Greece, by touching marine spaces being declared in the Eastern Mediterranean.
