229. Wednesday Seminar of AYBU School of Law was presented by Research Assistant Safa Şefik Acar from the Department of Private International Law and his title was “Deportation of Temporary Protection Beneficiaries”.
Research Assist. Safa Şefik Acar first touched upon the historical development of the terms refugee and temporary protection. Then he evaluated on the difference between temporary protection and international protection in Turkish law. After explaining the norm of non-refoulement, he examined under which conditions temporary protection beneficiaries can be deported.
