223. Wednesday Seminar at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University Faculty of Law, titled ‘The Issue of Gaye (Objective) in Islamic Law’, was presented by Research Assistant Hatice Atalay from the Department of Islamic Law.
In her presentation, Research Assistant Atalay first underlined the importance of gaye (objective) and its functions in the Islamic Law. Then, she evaluated the main gayes (objectives) in the light of makasid (purpose), maslahat (affair) and ictihad (jurisprudence).
The programme ended with a Q&A session (27.04.2022).
