In collaboration with Our (AYBU) Law School and Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL), a Round Table Meeting on ‘Contemporary Perspectives on Law’ moderated by Prof. Dr. Said Gulyamov and Dr. Samet Tatar, has been held.
Within the scope of this Round Table, panellists from both Universities gave their presentations. From TSUL, the panellists and their topics were – Dr. Akhtam Yakubov ‘Smart Contracts in Modern Jurisprudence’; Akmal Akramov ‘Prospects for the Development of the Digital Property in Uzbekistan’ and Yulduz Akhtamova ‘Contemporary Issues in International Investment Law’.
From our Law School’s perspectives, Dr. Harun Muratogullari gave a speech on ‘The Right to Leave Transit Country: the EU- Turkey Refugee Deal from a Human Rights Perspective’ and Res. Assist. Bengi Sargin presented the topic ‘Digital Exhaustion: On-going Debate under the EU Copyright Law’.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session.
