The Founding President of the Writers Union of Turkey, D. Mehmet DOĞAN, gave a talk titled “Change in the Legal Language: Language and Style” as part of the ‘Law and Life’ conversation series of AYBU Faculty of Law.
In his speech, D. Mehmet Doğan discussed the relationship between law and language and the weaknesses of Turkish law education within the context of the historical origins of the wording choices in the new laws and the transformation of the Turkish language.
Following the speech of D. Mehmet DOĞAN, the question-answer session started. The program ended while our Dean Prof. Dr. Hayri BOZGEYİK presented the certificate of participation and gifts to Mr. Doğan on the behalf of our Faculty.
