211st Wednesday Seminar organised by the AYBU Faculty of Law has been held with a presentation of Res. Assist. Elif KÖSESOY from General Public Law Department and the title of the presentation was ‘Child as a Subject of Rights: Children’s Rights from Past to Present’.
Firstly, Res. Assist. Elif KÖSESOY defined the concepts of child, childhood, and children’s rights. Then, she explained the basic methods concerning children's rights and the importance of children's rights in terms of human rights. She also discussed national and international standards related to children's rights. Lastly, the recent developments of children's rights in Turkey were analysed and some suggestions were proposed.
After the enlightening presentation of Res. Assist. Elif KÖSESOY, the Q&A session took place and then the program ended. (17.11.21)
