Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law 2020-2021 academic year graduation ceremony was held on 07.07.2021. President of the Council of State, Mr. Zeki YİĞİT; Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdülhamit GÜL; President of the Court of Accounts, Mr. Metin YENER; our Rector, Prof. Dr. İbrahim AYDINLI; our Dean Prof. Dr. Hayri BOZGEYİK; Members of the High Jjudiciary; Çubuk Governor Adem KELEŞ and Çubuk Mayor Baki DEMİRBAŞ; academics; students and families attended the ceremony. The ceremony started with the concert of the Turkish Music State Conservatory orchestra and continued with the speech of Anıl GÜLNARLI, the first of our faculty. After GÜLNARLI's speech, our Law Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hayri BOZGEYIK, Our Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim AYDINLI, Minister of Justice Mr. Abdülhamit GÜL, President of the Council of State, Mr. Zeki YİĞİT made the opening speeches.
In his opening speech, Minister of Justice Abdülhamit GÜL gave the good news that 1000 judges and prosecutors will be recruited by the end of the year. He advised the students not to compromise their impartiality and independence and to respect evidence. Reminding the example of the treacherous coup attempt of July 15, he advised them to remain conscious. Minister GÜL concluded his speech by wishing success to our graduates.
The graduation ceremony ended with the awarding of gifts and plaques to our graduates, cap throwing and diploma presentation ceremonies.
