Applications for the new term of our AYBÜ ISTAC team are now open. If you are a student at the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Law and wish to develop your skills in the field of arbitration, we would be delighted to welcome you to our team.
Application Requirements
• 3rd and 4th-year law students are eligible to apply.
• A minimum weighted GPA of 2.75 is required.
Application Deadline
The deadline for applications is September 24, 2026, at 17:00. Applications should be sent to istacgtay@aybu.edu.tr, including your full name, student ID number, and an attached transcript.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through an interview. The interview will assess general legal knowledge, focusing particularly on fundamental concepts in the Law of Obligations (General Provisions and Special Provisions), Commercial Enterprise Law, Corporate Law, and Civil Procedure Law. The scheduled interview dates are as follows:
• Friday, September 25, 2026 (13:30 – 16:30)
• Monday, September 28, 2026 (09:30 – 12:30)
Applicants will be notified via email regarding their assigned interview date, time, and location. The "LAW 355 Moot Court III" course listed in the curriculum will commence after the interview process is concluded. Based on the interview results, the relevant course will be added to the automation system by the academic advisors and will appear in the selected students' course schedules. Therefore, students applying for the course should pay attention to potential schedule conflicts.
