In the 215th Wednesday Seminar, Research Assistant Muhammed Emin YILDIZ will make a presentation titled as ‘A Community Based on Legal Urge: 36 Boys’. In his presentation, the 36 Boys group, formed in Berlin Kreuzberg, and the statements of community members will be discussed in the context of sociology of community. The content analysis method is adopted for the study and it will be argued that in legal and sociological context, the group can be regarded as a community who came together with a self-defense claim. In this regard, the contribution of the study to the field of sociology of law will be underlined.
