Research Assistant Büşra GOK, will begin her presentation by explaining the principles that are considered as the basic rules of Islamic judicial law in the letter Hazrat Umar wrote to Abu Musa. Then, she will focus on how the judgment is made in the light of these principles. Finally, she will evaluate how the principles such as the Independence of the Judiciary, the Publicity of the Trial, the
Right to a Fair Trial, the Principle of Promptness in the Trial, and the Principle of Beraet-i Zimmet are implemented.
