Our center, in collaboration with Mamak Municipality, the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Migration Management, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), has concluded the "Migration and Integration Workshop."
The "Living Together" themed two-day Migration and Integration Workshop was held on December 6-7 at the Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan Congress and Culture Center in Mamak, Ankara, organized in partnership with Mamak Municipality, the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Migration Management, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBÜ), and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
After the opening speeches, a panel discussion was held, featuring speeches from AYBÜ Department of Sociology Chair Prof. Dr. Emrah Akbaş, Sakarya University Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel, our center director Dr. Ali Zafer Sağıroğlu, and Dr. İbrahim Halil Yılmaz.
In the afternoon session of the first day of the workshop, representatives from civil society organizations and university migration research centers presented their activities in the field of social integration to the audience. Our center's activities and its introduction were presented by our Research Assistant, Ramazan Ünsal.
