REGULATIONS OF
ANKARA YILDIRIM BEYAZIT UNIVERSITY MIGRATION POLICIES APPLICATION
AND RESEARCH CENTER
PART ONE
Purpose, Scope, Basis and Definitions
Purpose
ARTICLE 1 - (1) The purpose of this Regulation; Yildirim Beyazit University Immigration Policy Implementation and Research Center aims to organize the procedures and principles related to the aims, areas of activity, governing bodies and their duties.
Scope
ARTICLE 2 - (1) This Regulation covers provisions related to the aims, scope, management bodies, duties of management bodies and working style of Yıldırım Beyazıt University Immigration Policy Implementation and Research Center.
Basis
ARTICLE 3 - (1) This Regulation has been prepared on the basis of the subsection (2) and Article 14 of the first paragraph (d) of the Article 7 of the Higher Education Law dated 4/11/1981 and numbered 2547.
Definitions
ARTICLE 4 - (1) In this Regulation;
a) Center: Yildirim Beyazit University Immigration Policies Application and Research Center,
b) Director: Head of the Center,
c) Rector: Yıldırım Beyazıt University Rector,
ç) University: Yıldırım Beyazıt University,
d) Board of Directors: The Board of Directors of the Center,
PART TWO
Objectives and Activities of the Center
Objectives of the Center:
ARTICLE 5 - (1) The aim of the center is to make researches on the fields of activity in scientific and academic quality by taking advantage of the possibilities of different disciplinary fields and to develop policy and strategy recommendations.
Areas of activity of the Center
ARTICLE 6 - (1) The Center shall operate in the following areas in order to realize its aims stated in the fifth article:
a) To monitor the migration movements and human mobility to Turkey and from Turkey to foreign countries, the ones which occur in Turkey and to conduct researches, project for preparing reports on these issues.
b) To provide consultancy, expertise and similar services to national and international institutions and organizations on migration and human mobility issues.
c) To publish publications in Turkish and foreign languages for their purposes and to follow the publishing activities.
ç) To carry out internship and training activities within the scope of objectives.
d) To provide consultancy, expertise and similar services to national and international institutions and organizations on migration and human mobility issues.
e) To make comments and suggestions on policy decision-making on migration and human mobility.
f) To organize and participate in joint or individual seminars, symposiums, panels, conferences, workshops, congresses, forums with other relevant actors and partners.
g) To create archives and libraries on migration and human mobility issues.
ğ) To provide domestic and foreign experts with the opportunity to work within the framework of the studies.
h) To organize certification programs for the purpose of the center.
PART THREE
Management Organs and Tasks of the Center
Management bodies of the center
ARTICLE 7 - (1) The governing bodies of the Center are:
a) Director,
b) Board of Trustees.

ARTICLE 8 - (1) The Director shall be appointed by the Rector for three years from among full-time faculty members of the University. The Director, who has completed the term of the task, may be re-appointed.
(2) A maximum of two assistant principals are appointed by the Rector from among university faculty members to assist the deputy with the recommendation of the head of the administration. At the end of the mission's termination, the term of office of the assistant principal ends.
Executive powers and responsibilities
ARTICLE 9 - (1) Responsible authority and responsibilities are:
a) To manage and represent the center.
b) Presiding over the Board of Trustees and carrying out decisions.
c) calling the Board of Trustees to the meeting.
d) To manage the administrative affairs of the Center.
d) At the end of each academic year and at the times required, the Rectorate shall submit a report after receiving the approval of the Board of Trustees in relation to its activities.
Board of Trustees
ARTICLE 10 - (1) Board of Trustees; The proposal consists of a total of five faculty members including two members appointed by the Rector from among the faculty members working in the subjects of the Center's activities, and the assistants of the Principal and the Principal. The ending member may be recruited.
(2) The Board of Trustees shall convene at least once a year and, where necessary, upon the call of the Proprietor, and the decisions shall be taken by majority vote.
Duties and authorities of the Board of Trustees
ARTICLE 11 - (1) The duties and authorities of the Executive Board are as follows:
a) to take decisions on the preparation and implementation of the activities to be carried out within the scope of the purpose specified in Article 5;
b) To discuss the annual reports and activity reports prepared by the Director and to make decisions.
c) To establish permanent and temporary working and advisory groups and to determine their tasks.
ç) To take principle and principle decisions regarding activities to be jointly or separately performed with other actors.
PART FOUR
Miscellaneous and Final Provisions
Working and advisory groups
ARTICLE 12 - (1) Work and advisory groups may be established when deemed necessary.
Need for staff
ARTICLE 13 - (1) The academic, technical and administrative personnel requirements of the Center shall be met by the personnel to be appointed by the Rector in accordance with Article 13 of the Law No. 2547.
Unclaimed cases
ARTICLE 14 - (1) In cases which are not included in this Regulation, the general provisions shall be applied.
Force
ARTICLE 15 - (1) This Regulation shall enter into force on the date of its publication.

ARTICLE 16 - (1) These Regulations are executed by the Rector of Yildirim Beyazit. University
