What is Phytotherapy?
In order to prevent diseases and support treatment, plants with scientifically proven medicinal effects, their active ingredients and/or natural products obtained through a process and standardized pharmaceutical forms (tablets, capsules, tinctures…) and herbal medicinal products are used. The practice is called phytotherapy. Medicinal plants have been used by folk medicine practitioners for centuries. Similar plants have also been used by health professionals in modern pharmacognosy.
Ministry of Health Approved Certificate Training Programs continue for medical doctors and dentists in our center.
