What is Acupuncture?

Needle, laser beams, electrical stimulation (electroacupuncture), etc. It is an application made by stimulating special points found in the body with warning methods.

Acupuncture is a word made up of the words “acus” and “punctura”. It means sticking a needle into the point. It is the best known of the alternative and complementary treatment methods. The origin of acupuncture dates back 3000 years and is practiced in every country of the world. It is commonly used as a first-line treatment in China, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea, and in the late 1970s it began to gain popularity in the western world and the United States.

Some of the diseases in which acupuncture treatment has proven effective in controlled clinical studies include:

allergic rhinitis (including hay fever)
biliary colic
Depression (including depressive neurosis and post-stroke depression)
primary dysmenorrhea
Acute epigastralgia (in peptic ulcer, acute and chronic gastritis, gastrospasm)
