We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the esteemed figures of our philosophical community, Prof. Dr. Teo Grünberg.
Prof. Dr. Grünberg played a significant role in the institutionalization of modern logic and philosophy education in Turkey, as well as in its dissemination in schools. Through his many years of teaching and his written works, he inspired countless students and scholars. He will be remembered not only for his profound knowledge but also for his grace, his respect for his students, and his exemplary character.
A memorial ceremony will be held on April 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM in Auditorium B14 of the Humanities Building at METU. Following the ceremony, he will be laid to rest at Mamak Ortaköy Cemetery at 2:00 PM. A shuttle to the cemetery will depart from the Philosophy Department at 1:00 PM.
We remember him with deep respect, gratitude, and longing, and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, students, and the entire philosophical community.
