The IT Security and System Management event, which began with an opening speech by our esteemed Dean Prof. Dr. Ergün Eraslan, was organized by the Software Engineering Club (ASEC) of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. The event hosted Sezai Yılmaz, an expert in cybersecurity threats, network security, and system management.
Throughout the event, participants gained detailed insights into today’s most critical cybersecurity threats and received practical information from Sezai Yılmaz on secure and efficient system management techniques. Topics such as network security strategies, risk analysis, and protection methods were discussed to help attendees stay up to date with the latest industry developments.
Following his presentation, Sezai Yılmaz conducted hands-on security testing demonstrations, providing participants with practical experience in detecting and preventing cyber threats. These real-world scenarios helped reinforce the theoretical knowledge shared earlier.
The event, which offered a significant opportunity for students aiming for a career in information technology as well as for industry professionals, concluded with a Q&A session. Participants had the chance to directly ask Sezai Yılmaz questions and gain deeper insights into the topics discussed.
