Attention students who will complete their mandatory summer internship!
Students who will complete internships during the summer term within the scope of the SENG300 and SENG400 courses are required to prepare the necessary pre-internship documents and submit them to the Department Secretariat between June 1–3. It is strongly recommended that you carefully read the “Internship” section on the department website for detailed information about the required documents and procedures.
Points to consider regarding the pre-internship documents you will submit:
- Internship Acceptance Form: The internship dates must be approved by the institution where the internship will take place. The internship period must not overlap with the academic calendar’s course or examination periods. If there are official holidays during the internship period, please make sure to calculate the start and end dates carefully so that the total duration equals 20 working days. If your institution operates on Saturdays, you are required to provide a signed document from the institution confirming this; otherwise, working days will be calculated as 5 weekdays per week.
- Pre-Internship Control Form: You are required to check and sign the form to confirm the accuracy of the documents and information you submit.
- GSS Document: This document is required for the insurance procedures to be carried out by the university.
