On December 3, 2025, the second Career Talks program organized by our Department with the support of the Art and Literature Club was successfully held with the participation of some faculty members and students. Our Department Chair, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Erdoğan, delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the importance of the Career Talks series for students and their career goals, and thanking those who contributed to the program. He also wished success to the speakers who graduated from our Department in previous years and are still actively pursuing their careers. In this program, which is a continuation of the series and moderated by Elif İrem Ünlü, President of the Arts and Literature Club, three distinguished speakers shared their career paths, experiences, and guiding advice for students in their respective fields.

The first speaker, Teacher Esmanur Aksoy, said that she took an early step in her professional journey by volunteering at an institution during her fourth year of university education, and that the 3-4 years of experience she gained there allowed her to build a strong foundation in the field of teaching. Aksoy, who has been actively teaching for about six years, emphasized the importance of seeking out opportunities rather than waiting for them to come to you in your career.

Broadcasting and Production Specialist Betül Gindeközü stated that she was unable to continue her academic career during her university years due to the responsibilities of marriage and motherhood, but despite life's difficulties, she did not give up and took the exam organized by TRT. She said that her preparation, productivity, and self-confidence during the nine-month-long exam and interview process caught the attention of those involved, and that she earned the right to start working in TRT's broadcasting management unit with the ideas she presented in the interview and the content she developed on the online platform. Gindeközü expressed his happiness at being involved in processes such as program content and broadcast flow, bringing traces of literature into broadcasting life.

Doctoral student Barkın Burak Bingöl said that he participated in serious academic programs during his master's education and gained international work experience by participating in the Erasmus program in Poland during his doctoral studies. Barkın Burak Bingöl said that his work during his student years and afterwards laid strong foundations for his career and contributions to literature, and that foreign language skills, serious work, and self-confidence were important prerequisites for this.
