PÖA-1: To train individuals who can contribute significantly to the teaching of Turkish literature, language, and culture at universities both within Turkey and abroad, who have acquired critical thinking skills, and who are capable of conducting graduate studies in the fields of Old Turkish Language, New Turkish Language, Turkish Folk Literature, Old Turkish Literature, and New Turkish Literature.
PÖA-2: To produce Turkish scholars who are qualified, productive, aware of the responsibilities of their education, possess a multifaceted perspective, are capable of interdisciplinary work, can generate original ideas, and adhere to ethical principles in the field of Turkish language and literature.
PÖA-3: To mentally prepare individuals who, upon graduation, will be able to meet the employment needs of libraries and archives in Turkey and abroad, advertising agencies (copywriting), newspapers and magazines (editing), institutions such as the Turkish Language Association (expert), and relevant private sector and public institutions and organizations.
PÖA-4: To meet the need for human resources who have acquired the skills to use Turkish correctly and effectively in written and spoken form, to interpret works of Turkish literature in light of scientific data, and to build bridges between the past and future of Turkish literature; who have come to know Turkish culture through its reference points and have learned to pass on its folkloric elements to future generations.
