Aybü was swept by a wave of poetry and music before Ramadan. On Monday, February 24, 2025, AYBÜ Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Art and Literature Club, and Faculty of Theology, Mefkûre Club jointly organized a poetry and music recital with the theme of “Heroism.” The program began with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Mustafa ERDOĞAN, Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature. Then, the Turkish Language and Literature Choir “Bâkî,” prepared under the direction of Dr. Ömer Selimoğlu, took the stage.
During the recital, poems such as Ok, Cenk Marşı, Mehmetçiğe Kaside, and Zafer Türküsü were recited by students from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, while the Bâkî choir performed pieces such as Ceddin Deden, Plevne Marşı, Yelkenler Biçilecek, Genç Osman, Sakarya Türküsü, and Asker Duası. The program, which featured exciting and enjoyable moments, was successfully completed. The recital ended with the presentation of Certificates of Appreciation to those who contributed to the program and a photo session.
