AYBU LAP Club Unites Turkey and Japan in Innovative Workshop In a groundbreaking initiative, AYBU LAP Club orchestrated its first-ever Global Workshop Series, transcending borders to bring together 20 participants from Turkey and Japan. Hosted at AYBU ÖĞMER, the event witnessed the convergence of LAP enthusiasts from diverse Turkish departments and Japanese university students devoted to Hakusan Geopark Area Initiated during the early days of summer, the engagement culminated on December 20, 2023, with an immersive two-hour online gathering. Spearheaded by Zeynep Olgun Pamuk and Gamze Güven Yalçın in Turkey, and Yukari in Japan, the session aimed at breaking cultural barriers and fostering a sense of community. The collaborative effort of both cohorts produced a remarkable outcome—an intricately crafted paper-quilt symbolizing the integrity and unity of the LAP community.
