"Large Sized Ceramic Applications" Practical Training Successfully Held

The mobile training and hands-on workshop titled "Large Sized Ceramic Applications", organized by the AYBU Department of Architecture in collaboration with Kalebodur, was successfully held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, on the -1st floor of the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts. Conducted with technical experts around the Kalebodur Mobile Training Vehicle, the program provided practical knowledge on modern handling, cutting, adhering, and installation techniques for large-format porcelain and ceramic slabs. During the first session (09:00 – 14:30), 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-year architecture students engaged in hands-on practice using specialized vacuum-handling tools and installation equipment under expert supervision, while remaining open to all spectators. In the afternoon session (14:30 – 15:40), the workshop floor was opened to the entire faculty for open hands-on trial and application.We would like to express our gratitude to the Kalebodur technical team, our organizing faculty members, and all participating students for contributing to this productive workshop bridging theoretical architectural design with on-site building material technology.
